Here is our cancellation policy - please read carefully
Cancellation by Lister
- According to our cancellation policy, the Renter will receive a full refund, minus Peaksrentals' fees.
Cancellation by Renter
- At least 2 days before the rental starts: Full refund, minus Peaksrentals' fees.
- Less than 48 hours before the rental starts: 50% refund of the rental fee, minus Peaksrentals' fees.
Incorrect or Non-Delivered Gear
- If the gear does not match the Lister’s description or is not delivered as agreed, the Renter may request a full refund (excluding Peaksrentals fees).
- Lister will be charged a CHF 20 administrative fee.
Cancellation During the Rental Period
- Mechanical failure on the first day: Renter is eligible for a full refund (minus Peaksrentals fees).
- After the first day: Refunds will be prorated based on the number of days the gear was used.
Refunds After Rental Starts
- Refunds after the rental begins will only be granted in exceptional circumstances.
- Renters and Listers may agree to shorten the rental period for a partial refund, but the full Peaksrentals fee will apply.
Lister Cancellation Fees
- Within 48 hours of pickup: Listers will be charged a CHF 20 cancellation fee.
- Fees will be deducted from future payouts or charged to the Lister’s credit card on file.
Peaksrentals’ Discretion
- Peaksrentals reserves the right to make final decisions regarding refunds.
- If either party is unsatisfied, they must resolve the issue directly with the other party.
No-Show / Failure to Appear
- If the Lister or Renter fails to appear for scheduled gear delivery, they may reschedule instead of facing penalties or refunds.
- Rescheduling must be arranged through Peaksrentals or by contacting customer support.
