Peaksrentals Guarantee

Peaksrentals has your back when it comes to protecting your rides from theft, damage, or loss. Basically, if something happens while someone is renting your gear, the renter is responsible for covering it as outlined in our Rental Agreement.

But if your gear gets damaged or stolen and the renter can't pay you back for its fair value, we’ll step in and cover the cost up to a certain limit, depending on what type of gear you have and where you are:

1. For bikes, we cover up to CHF500 in Switzerland.
2. For surfboards and stand-up paddleboards (SUP), the coverage is also up to CHF500 in Switzerland.
3. The same goes for skis and snowboards.

Just a heads up, the Peaksrentals Guarantee Program is only for Listers using our platform during rentals and doesn’t replace your homeowners or renters insurance. Renters aren’t covered by this guarantee and are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft that happens while they have your gear.

They can opt for a Protection package at checkout if they want. Also, Peaksrentals isn’t liable for any "Loss of Use" or lost rental income due to theft or damage to your gear.
